Hi Nilz, i know you're just back from your German tour!how were the gigs? Is there any gig which impressioned you most? Will we see you also in Italy?
Germany was great and very hot. The best gig was defenitly the last gig of the tour at "Backstage" in Munich. 200 crazy people. We also enjoyd Arensburg and we always love to play in Rostock. We´d love to come to Italy but at the moment why aint got any concret plans of a tour there. But if we get a chance we´ll be there for sure!!!

Which new songs did the public like most? Which of them do you prefer playing live?
It's diffrent from gig to gig but "I can't keep my hands away" and "Gotta go my way" always works.

"Stoned, broke and ready to rumble" is your second full-lenght, in your opinion, which are the principal differences from the former "Rock'n'roll Overdose"?
Better production and better songs.

One of your carachteristics is that you have two guitarists who both sing! I think that this is a peculiar thing that helps you write your catching vocal melodies… What do you say about this?
We are 3 songwriters in Cosmic Ballroom Johnny, Nille and me and we all write lots of songs so we always have very much material to choose from when we record a record. I think that is why we are able to get the songs so good.

But I think that this also may create some problems…Were there ever any incomprehensions between Nille and Johnny? It must be difficult to decide who will sing the most part of the song… How do you decide this focal point?
So far that has not been a problem. We just try to focus on getting the best songs possible and in the end it always seems to be an even match.

"Never go Blind" and "Kix" are two heavy and also very "modernist" songs written both by Johnny…I think that these two songs are influenced by the Wildhearts. Do you like this band?
I like the Wildhearts but I know for a fact that Johnny never heard the Wildhearts! He´s much more into old stuff like ACDC, Zeppelin and that kinda music. But I think you´re right they sound a bit Wildhearts.

Which are the bands that influenced you most?
Guns'n'Roses, Kiss, Ac/Dc, L.A. Guns, Faster Pussycat, The Yo-Yo´s and many more...

A very weird title is "Don't let the devil rock your boat if you don't know how to swim", what did you want to say in this song?
The songs is about growing up and finding out it's not that great as you thought it would be. The songtitle means: if can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. If you know what i mean!

Is there any song in the album that you prefer for any particular reason?
I like all the songs for diffrent reasons but if I have to pick one it would be "Gotta go my way" because it's great fun playing live.

I thinks that you don't have anything to envy to Backyard Babies…You provoke the same damn ecstacy to me! Do you take this as a compliment or as an offense?
Thank! Backyard Babies is a great band and we share alot of influences so I´ll take it as a compliment.
